Welcome to Wage & Hour Consultants, LLC. My name is Charles Baker and I was employed with the Wage & Hour Division (WHD) for over 30 years. In June 1990, I was hired as an investigator and stationed at the Memphis, Tennessee Area Office. Over time, I broadened my investigative skills and knowledge of the Wage & Hour laws by serving in multiple offices, including Tallahassee, Florida; Opelika, Alabama; Montgomery; and Mobile. In the Mobile Area Office, I advanced to the role of Assistant District Director, providing valuable leadership and strategic guidance within the WHD. The extensive knowledge and experience I gained while employed with the WHD enables me to offer your business effective guidance to ensure full compliance with all laws enforced by the Wage & Hour Division.
